Cusco LSD for GR86, GT86 & BRZ
There are a lot of options for Limited Slip Differentials, with 4 main types available for GR86, GT86 & BRZ
Type RS
Low initial torque by using RS springs therefore the initial torque comes on more gently compared to the Type MZ which comes on stronger as it uses cone plates.
The response of the LSD is better, as the friction is lower.
Suitable for street and trackday type cars
Type MZ
Type MZ lsd uses cone plates, developed for smooth torque delivery that can handle high levels of power and is more suited to race and high power forced induction vehicles.
Type RS or MZ - Spec-F
Spec-F features a flat friction disc surface that is precision-polished to generate a uniform and smooth frictional force. Provides smooth and stable engagement and is ideal for road cars.
Setting - 1 way, 1.5 way or 2 way?
Three ways to set your CUSCO limited slip differentials:
- 1 way - Specially suited for front wheel drive cars and AWD car front axles.
Activates under acceleration, and acts as a true LSD when the
throttle is off.
- 1.5 way - Activates under acceleration while the under-steer under
deceleration is less than on a 2 way LSD. Recommended for those
who have a hard time with under-steer.
- 2 way - Recommended on rear wheel drive cars and AWD car rear axles.
Activates on both acceleration and deceleration. Recommended
for those who prefer aggressive driving and big angle drifting.
Please choose your type and way configurations carefully from the drop down list.
